The first tab under the Settings menu is labeled "Aurender". This tab allows you to select the Aurender music server you wish to access/control from the Conductor App (if you have more than one Aurender), add a new Aurender, search for an Aurender on your network, change the name of an Aurender music server, and other general settings detailed below.
Select Aurender Server
If you have only one Aurender music server, it will automatically be selected here. Otherwise, you can specify which server to connect to. If you need to manually add an Aurender music server, the "Add Aurender" tab will allow you to enter the IP address of the server and add it to the App menu. Alternatively, if an Aurender music server is not appearing, you can also perform a scan of your network to find it using the "Search for Aurender" button.
Note, a long press of the Aurender name will allow the user to initiate a remote support request.
Change Aurender Name
This allows you to give the selected Aurender music server a unique name. Note that the Aurender will reboot after the "Rename" button has been pressed.
Date and Time
Sets the Aurender's date and time to the date and time of the connected iPad.
Sets the Aurender's language to the language settings of the connected iPad.
Displays the various network settings of the Aurender, including the IP address, Gateway, and MAC address.
Front Panel Power Button
As of system software version 4(5).5.80 or later, this button is no longer functional.
Allows the user to Restart or Turn Off the Aurender.
Important Notice Regarding the Power Off Procedure
The unit should only be disconnected from AC power after shutting down the device completely, and pressing the rear panel rocker switch to the "off" position. In addition, the rear panel switch should only be set to "off", after using one of the "Turn off" or shutdown procedures detailed at this link. Failure to do so may may result in un-mounting or corrupting the internal SSD drive, crippling or rendering the unit inoperative.
