The Playlist Editor window allows the user to select existing playlists and make edits to them while music is being played in the queue. Any song selections when the Playlist Editor window is expanded will be added to the selected playlist and will not affect the playback queue.
When the user taps the Playlist Editor text, the Contents Window is expanded to the right of the screen and the Queue window is collapsed to the bottom of the screen, as shown in the two images below.
With the Playlist Editor window expanded, the user can select the Playlist button at the bottom of the screen in order to make edits to a particular playlist, or the user may also swipe the contents window to the left and select music normally. When browsing content with Playlist Editor selected, instead of adding to the playback queue, the music will be added to the Playlist Editor window where it may be edited and saved.
Detailed below is editing an existing playlist by selecting the Playlist button (1) and selecting a playlist name by tapping on it (2).
Press the Edit button to edit the existing playlist (3).
When the Edit button is pressed, three lines and a round checkbox will appear to the right and left of each song title, respectively. Dragging the three lines up or down will change the order in which the song appears in the playlist. Selecting the round checkbox will allow the user to delete the selected song(s) by pressing the Delete button at the bottom of the screen (4). Note that for the edits to the playlist to be saved, the Save button (5) will need to be pressed after any edits.
The remainder buttons in the Playlist Editor window are Save, which saves edits made to the existing playlist (5), Clear, which clears the contents of the selected playlist (6), Play, which adds the playlist in the Playlist Editor window to the playback queue (Play Now, Replace Queue, Add to next, and Add to end as options for this button) (7), and Shuffle, which currently does not offer a function with the Playlist Editor window expanded (8).
